Our aim is to prevent children and teenagers, living on some of the largest and most deprived estates in Greenwich from being sucked into the gang; drugs; alcohol and anti-social behaviour culture that can prevail here.
We provide structured and fun activities aimed at raising aspirations and self esteem, encouraging perseverance in school and rejection of the negative values to which young people are exposed on a daily basis. We can help to prevent these children and young people from offending or re-offending by providing mentoring, training, employment and work experience. Our activities improve social integration and attitudes to education and employment as well as providing real, paid work experience and training to enable young people to find a route out of poverty. On average, we work with approximately 300 children and young people per year aged 5-25.
You can support us by making a donation to the trust. Your donation will be used to fund our range of work with children and young people to support where the need is greatest. This might be to help with the cost of running stay and play clubs, youth groups, mentoring or youth workers to support young people at risk of homelessness.
Grant Making Trusts can make a huge difference to the range of services that we are able to offer. If you would like us to allocate your donation to a particular project then we are happy to do so and will keep you updated with progress reports.
